Put your trello board on a TV

Go live in 3 steps

1

Pair your screen to Fugo

Install the Fugo app on your TV or media player to link it to your Fugo account. It takes minutes and works with most smart TVs and media players.

2

Add your trello board

Point Fugo at your Trello board through a secure signed-in web view. Fugo handles the sign-in in the cloud, so your credentials never live on the screen.

3

Schedule it and leave it running

Set how often the board refreshes, schedule it by day and time, and leave it running. Fugo keeps the screen live with remote management, uptime monitoring and automatic recovery.

A trello tab in a browser wasn’t built for a wall-mounted TV

Trello works well for people managing cards inside a browser. But when teams try to keep a board visible all day in a shared space, the usual workaround falls apart:

  • A laptop left plugged into the TV

  • Sessions expiring partway through the day

  • Boards freezing after a browser update

  • Sign-in prompts interrupting the display

  • No central way to manage more than one screen

A secure way to show trello boards on screens

Built for unattended playback

Your board is loaded and refreshed in the cloud, so the screen doesn’t rely on an active browser session or a logged-in laptop.

Secure sign-in handling

Sign-in is handled through a secure cloud layer. Credentials are encrypted and stored in Fugo’s cloud, not on the TV.

No public boards required

Show your board without turning on public links or anonymous sharing. Nothing internal is exposed.

Controlled refresh intervals

Choose how often the board refreshes so the wallboard stays in step with Trello.

Screen-ready formatting

Crop, scale and arrange the view so the To Do, Doing and Done columns stay readable across the room.

Central publishing and oversight

Assign boards to specific screens and manage updates across every location from one place.

Wherever the team tracks work, it should be visible

Keep the To Do, Doing and Done columns visible to the whole team throughout the day, so status is obvious without a stand-up.

Frequently asked questions

Can I show a live trello board on a TV?

Yes. Fugo displays your Trello board on any TV or screen through a secure signed-in web view, and keeps it refreshed so the wallboard stays current without a laptop plugged in.

Do I need a special device?

You need a compatible smart TV or a digital signage player connected to your screen. Once it is paired with Fugo, the screen can display your board without a permanently attached computer. View supported and recommended hardware.

Is it secure? Do I have to make my board public?

No public or anonymous sharing is required. Sign-in is handled through a secure cloud layer, credentials are encrypted and stored in Fugo’s cloud rather than on the TV, and only the rendered view is shown on screen. Fugo is SOC 2 Type II certified.

What happens if the screen drops off or restarts?

Because playback is managed centrally, the board resumes automatically after a device restart or a dropped connection, without anyone logging back in on the screen.

Can I show my trello board next to other content?

Yes. You can crop, scale and arrange the board in the Design Studio and place it alongside notices or a second dashboard so one screen shows more than one thing.

How often does the board refresh on screen?

You choose the refresh interval. The board is recaptured at the interval you set so the screen reflects recent card activity without relying on a live browser session.

Does Fugo work with Jira too?

Yes. Trello and Jira are both Atlassian tools, and Fugo shows either on a screen. Trello suits a fast kanban wallboard; Jira suits sprint and issue tracking. See Jira on a TV, or browse all TV dashboards.

How much does it cost?

Fugo is priced per screen, so you only pay for the screens you run. See pricing, or read how Fugo works for the full picture.

Can I test it before rolling it out?

Yes. You can start with a trial, connect a single board, and validate the setup on one screen before expanding.
