Platform features

Screen ownership that fits how schools operate

Fugo is designed to be manageable by teachers, administrators, and student committees — not just IT staff. With built-in content safety controls and education-friendly pricing, it's the right choice for schools and universities of any size.

Department-level roles and permissions

Fugo's content permission system ensures that only approved content ever appears on student-facing screens. Student editors can submit content for publication, but it must be approved by a designated supervisor before going live. Content filtering tools block inappropriate material.

Scheduling for recurring campus messages

Fugo believes every school should have access to professional digital signage. Our K-12 education programme provides qualifying primary and secondary schools with free access to the Fugo platform for up to three screens.

Monitoring to reduce screen downtime

Universities and large secondary schools often have multiple departments, faculties, and student societies all wanting to communicate via screens. Fugo's permission model lets each department manage their own screens independently while a central communications team maintains oversight.

Common questions

Education digital signage FAQs

Everything schools, colleges, and universities ask before deploying Fugo on campus.

How do publishing permissions work for departments?

Yes — Fugo offers a free plan for qualifying K-12 primary and secondary schools that provides full platform access for up to three screens. This is not a limited trial; it is an ongoing free tier designed to make professional digital signage accessible to schools with constrained budgets. Universities and colleges are eligible for heavily discounted education pricing.

Can we integrate with Google workspace and Microsoft 365?

Fugo has a multi-stage approval workflow designed specifically for education environments. Student editors can create and submit content, but it does not go live until it has been reviewed and approved by a designated supervisor or administrator. Role-based permissions mean students only have access to the specific screen groups they're responsible for.

What screens and hardware are supported?

Absolutely. Fugo's workspace and permissions model is designed for exactly this. Each department, faculty, or student organisation can have their own designated editor who manages content for their area's screens. A central administrator maintains oversight of the entire network and can publish to all screens simultaneously for campus-wide announcements.

Does Fugo work with Google workspace and Microsoft 365?

Yes, Fugo integrates natively with both ecosystems. You can display Google Slides presentations on screens, pull event schedules from Google Calendar, and display data from Google Sheets. For Microsoft users, Fugo connects to Outlook Calendar, SharePoint, and can display PowerPoint presentations. Staff and students can sign in using their existing institutional account via single sign-on.

What screens and hardware does Fugo work with?

Fugo works with virtually any screen that has an HDMI input, including the TVs and commercial displays most schools already have. You add a small, inexpensive media player — an Amazon Fire TV Stick is a popular choice for schools — and Fugo runs directly on it. We also support Samsung Smart Signage TVs (SSSP/Tizen) natively, which are popular in education.
