Why leadership teams put dashboards on screens

Replace status meetings with persistent visibility

A screen showing live company health removes the need for recurring check-ins that exist only to share numbers. Leaders see the state of the business on the way to their next meeting.

Reduce lag between an event and executive awareness

Revenue misses, support spikes, and deployment failures show up on the screen as they happen. No one needs to escalate or send an email for leadership to notice.

Keep the leadership team aligned on the same numbers

When every executive sees the same dashboard, conversations start from shared context. Less time reconciling different reports, more time deciding what to do about them.

Support board-ready displays in briefing rooms

Put formatted dashboards on screens in boardrooms and executive briefing rooms. The data is already there when the meeting starts instead of buried in a slide deck.

Surface cross-functional trends that get buried in silos

Departmental reports stay in departments. A shared executive display pulls metrics from sales, engineering, support, and finance into one view that reveals how they connect.

Make strategic priorities visible where decisions happen

OKR progress, initiative status, and key results belong on screens near executive offices and meeting rooms. Visibility reinforces focus on what the company said matters most.

Common questions

Executive dashboard display FAQs

Is IT safe to display executive dashboards on shared screens?

This is the most common concern and it is legitimate. Fugo connects to BI tools with read-only access and does not store your underlying data. You control exactly which dashboards and filtered views appear on each screen. Place screens in access-controlled areas like executive floors, and use content scheduling to show sensitive financial data only during business hours when the right people are present.

What BI tools can I display on screens?

Fugo has direct support for Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, Grafana, and Datadog. Any tool that supports embed URLs or iframe embedding will work. You can also display Google Sheets, web dashboards, and custom HTML pages alongside your BI content.

Can different executives or areas see different dashboards?

Yes. Each screen or screen group gets its own content assignment. The CEO office screen can show a company-wide summary while the CFO area shows financial detail and the CTO floor shows engineering metrics. All managed from one Fugo account with role-based permissions.

What hardware works for boardrooms and executive areas?

Most teams use commercial-grade displays from Samsung or LG paired with a small media player like an Amazon Fire TV Stick or Intel NUC. For boardrooms, a 55 to 75 inch display mounted or on a stand works well. Fugo runs on the player device so no laptop or desktop connection is needed.

Who controls what data appears on each screen?

Fugo uses role-based access. You decide which team members can assign content to which screens. The dashboards themselves inherit the permissions and filters set in your BI tool, so a screen only shows what the connected account is authorized to see. Access can be revoked at any time.

Can I schedule different content for board meetings vs. daily use?

Yes. Fugo playlists and scheduling let you switch content by time of day, day of week, or on-demand. Show a detailed financial review during board meetings, a high-level company health summary during normal hours, and company announcements or recognition content during breaks.
