Fugo
Built for stadiums & arenas

Stadium and arena digital signage

In short: Fugo runs the everyday screens in your stadium: concourse displays, concession and bar menus, gate and wayfinding screens, back-of-house crew boards and box office. One dashboard, any hardware, priced per screen. It does not drive your LED scoreboard or ribbon board, and it is not an IPTV system. If you run conferences and exhibitions rather than a permanent sports venue, our events and venues page is the better fit.

Use cases

Which screens in a stadium does Fugo actually run?

A stadium is not one screen system. It is three or four, and they rarely come from the same supplier. Fugo runs the everyday screens the crowd walks past, all from one dashboard.

Promote what’s on around the concourse

About jumbotrons and bowl LED

Run club promos, matchday messaging, safety notices and the next fixture on concourse and hospitality screens. Update every screen in seconds, so the message on the wall keeps up with the day. This is the concourse-screens job, not the main bowl LED.

Run the whole venue from one dashboard

The same hundred screens live in your stadium all year and do a different job every day. Fugo gives you central control of every one, and it is honest about the screens it does not drive.

Fugo dashboard managing grouped stadium concourse screens

One dashboard for the whole venue

Group screens by concourse, level, stand or building, then push to all of them, one stand or a single screen. If your club or operator runs more than one venue, the same dashboard covers the lot. Uptime monitoring shows which screens are up, and you can reboot a screen remotely instead of sending someone to a locked concourse on a Sunday morning.

  • Group by concourse, level or stand
  • Push to all screens or just one
  • Manage more than one venue
  • Uptime monitoring and remote reboot

Day-parting a matchday schedule in Fugo with start and end times

Day-parting for the matchday clock

Schedule content to switch itself as the day runs: gates-open messaging, pre-match promos, half-time concession pushes, then full-time exit and travel information. Set a start and end time per item so finished content clears itself instead of sitting on a screen at 11pm. Sponsor and advertiser creative rotates the same way, with a start and end date per campaign.

  • Gates-open to full-time
  • Start and end time per item
  • Auto-expiry, no late-night cleanup
  • Recurring matchday schedules

Digital signage and IPTV are two different jobs

IPTV distributes live TV channels to screens, such as the match feed in your suites and lounges. Digital signage runs the content you create: promos, menus, wayfinding and crew briefings. Most venues need both, from different systems. Fugo does the signage job. Its Video Stream app can embed a single live HLS stream into a screen layout, so a concourse screen can show the feed beside your own content. Fugo does not replace an IPTV headend and does not distribute broadcast channels. It also does not drive your main scoreboard, ribbon boards or fascia LED, which run on specialist LED processors.

  • Fugo runs: promos, menus, wayfinding, crew boards
  • Video Stream embeds one live HLS stream
  • Not an IPTV system, no broadcast channels
  • Does not drive scoreboards or ribbon boards

Back-of-house and crew comms

Stewards, catering teams, groundstaff and matchday casuals do not read email. Put shift boards, briefing notes, safety reminders and headcount on a screen in the crew room and the loading bay, on the same account and dashboard as the public screens.

Stadium digital signage FAQs

What venue operators ask before rolling out screens across a stadium.

Does Fugo work for stadium concourse screens?

Yes. Concourse displays are the main thing Fugo runs in a stadium, along with concession menus, wayfinding, back-of-house boards and box office screens. You manage them all from one dashboard and group them by stand, level or concourse.

Can Fugo drive our scoreboard or ribbon boards?

No. Scoreboards, ribbon boards and fascia LED are driven by specialist LED processors and live production systems, not by a signage CMS. Fugo runs the everyday screens around the venue, and the two happily coexist.

Is Fugo an IPTV system?

No. IPTV distributes live TV channels to screens; digital signage runs the content you create. Most venues need both. Fugo’s Video Stream app can embed a single live HLS stream into a screen layout, so a concourse screen can show a feed beside your own content, but Fugo does not replace an IPTV headend or distribute broadcast channels.

Can Fugo show live scores or fixture data?

Fugo has no built-in sports data feed. What it can do is display a web page or dashboard by URL, so if your scoring, fixture or ticketing system gives you a browser-viewable view, you can put it on a screen.

How is Fugo priced for a venue with hundreds of screens?

Per screen. There is no venue or site licence on top, so cost scales with how many screens you actually run.

What hardware do we need?

Whatever you already have, in most cases. Fugo runs on Amazon Fire TV and the Fire TV Signage Stick, Google TV Streamer, NVIDIA Shield, Android players, Samsung Tizen and LG webOS built into commercial panels, plus Windows and ChromeOS.

We run conferences as well as matches. Which page should I read?

Both. This page covers the permanent venue estate; the events and venues page covers show-by-show signage like agendas and exhibitor boards. For other large venues, see casinos and hotels.
