Amazon Signage Display launches in the US on 15 October 2026, according to Amazon's announcement to its CMS partners. Amazon describes it as a 55-inch screen with a built-in SoC media player, on sale at a suggested MSRP of $699.99 and available only in the US to begin with.
The Display sits alongside the Signage Stick in the same Amazon Signage line. Amazon says CMS apps already built for the Stick work on the Display with the same software and APIs, so a business can choose between the two for each wall without changing how its content is run.
How the Stick got here
In autumn 2024 Amazon released the Signage Stick, a $99.99 HDMI media player built for digital signage (invidis, 1 October 2024). Before then, plenty of small businesses had been running signage on consumer streaming sticks. The Signage Stick launches CMS software in kiosk mode on boot and adds a secure boot loader, 4K video and Wi-Fi 6E.
The Stick was modular from the start. You choose the screen, plug the Stick into it and pick a CMS from Amazon's partner list. Amazon later added a Remote Management API so CMS apps could turn screens on and off, restart Sticks and check Wi-Fi and HDMI status. On 1 September 2026 the Stick arrived in Canada and Europe, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The Display is the second form factor in that line. The Stick stays available, and operators can mix the two across a network.
What changes on the wall
A separate player needs somewhere to sit behind the screen, an HDMI connection and its own power. At a handful of screens that is a small job. Across hundreds of screens, or where it is hard to get behind the panel, each extra part is one more thing to fit and check.
With the player built into the panel, the Display needs one power connection per screen and no HDMI run. Menu boards, lobby loops and chains of shops that want every screen fitted the same way are the obvious places to start. How content is scheduled stays the same. The only change is the amount of hardware between the wall mount and the glass.
Where each one fits
The Stick suits estates with screens of mixed sizes, sites outside the US and rooms that already have commercial panels in place. The Display, at one size and for US sites only, suits uniform installs where fewer parts per screen matter more than choosing the panel yourself.

One set of tools for both
Amazon's partner list shows which CMS providers support Amazon Signage. Customers manage Sticks through the Amazon Signage mobile app and console, and Amazon says Displays will be managed from the same portal and app, while the CMS still handles scheduling, layouts and multi-site control.

Choosing between them
At Amazon's suggested $699.99 for screen and player together, the Amazon Signage Display is easiest to compare with the cost of a Stick plus a 55-inch commercial panel for each wall. Uniform screens and installs where it is hard to reach behind the panel point to the Display. Mixed sizes, sites outside the US and rooms with screens already in place point to the Stick. Either way, the software stays the same.
