In short
Fugo runs the small portrait screens inside your lifts and beside the call buttons. You build a playlist once, schedule it by time of day, and push it to every building from one dashboard. Screens tell you when they go offline, and you can restart a player remotely instead of booking an engineer visit. Works with the players and commercial displays you already buy — Fugo does not sell you hardware.

What elevator digital signage actually is
Lift screens sit in two places and behave differently. Inside the cabin you get a small portrait display, usually 15 to 22 inches, mounted in the wall panel. Outside, on each landing, you get a screen next to the call button where people wait 20 to 40 seconds. Both are captive audiences with nowhere else to look, which is why building owners keep adding them.
The screen is the easy part. The hard part is that a 40-storey block might have eight cabins and 40 landing screens, and nobody wants to walk into each one with a USB stick. That is the job Fugo does.
Why lift screens are harder than a lobby TV
A lift screen is a harder job than a wall-mounted lobby TV. These are the constraints worth planning for before you buy, and the ones most competitors skip.
Small portrait screens
Content built for a 55-inch landscape lobby TV is unreadable at 18 inches in portrait. You need layouts made for the shape of the screen.
Patchy network
Lift shafts are metal boxes, and many buildings only have a cabled drop at the machine room or the landing. Plan the network connection with your lift contractor and IT team before you pick a mounting point.
Vibration and heat
Consumer TVs and streaming sticks are not built for a cabin that moves 200 times a day. Ask your display supplier for a commercial-grade panel rated for the environment.
Access Windows
Getting into a cabin means booking the lift out of service. Every job you can do remotely is a job you do not have to schedule.
No lift-manufacturer integration
Fugo does not integrate with KONE, Otis, Schindler or TK Elevator control systems. Floor numbers and car position come from your lift supplier’s own display, not from a signage CMS.
What you can put on a lift screen
Anything you can design in Design Studio or drop into a playlist can play here. Fugo also connects to Canto DAM if your building brand assets already live there.
Building notices
Lift maintenance windows, cleaning schedules, parking changes and works notices.
Tenant and floor information
A simple floor list built in Design Studio, using the same content as your building directory screens.
Live dashboards on the screen
Air quality, occupancy or energy figures pulled from a dashboard URL.
Local news and weather
News and weather panels, so the screen is not showing the same three notices all week.
Advertising and sponsor slots
Sell the surface to advertisers, or run promotions for the retail units downstairs.
Welcome and brand content
Branded welcome content in the landing screens, matching the lobby.

Portrait and vertical layouts
Design Studio templates support vertical orientation, so you build the layout for the actual shape of the screen rather than cropping a landscape design. The same playlist can carry portrait content for cabins and a separate landscape playlist for the lobby wall, both managed in the same account.

Show different content at 8am and at 6pm
Day-parting is the single most useful feature for this buyer. Morning: commute times and weather. Midday: tenant notices and building news. Evening: what is open nearby. Scheduling handles the switch without anyone touching the screen. A notice can be set to appear and expire on a date, so an out-of-date works notice does not linger for a month.

Run lift screens across a whole portfolio
If you manage 12 buildings, you have one screen list in Fugo, grouped by site. Push a notice to every lift in one building, every lift in the portfolio, or a single cabin. Remote multi-site management means each property manager can be given access to their own screens while head office keeps the master templates. Uptime monitoring tells you when a screen stops checking in, which matters more here than anywhere else, because nobody reports a blank lift screen. Remote recovery lets you restart a player from the dashboard rather than booking the lift out of service for an engineer.
Hardware: use what you already buy
Fugo is hardware-agnostic, so you run it on the players and commercial displays you already buy. Confirm the panel’s environmental rating with your display supplier, because Fugo cannot certify a screen for a lift shaft.
Bring your own player
Amazon Fire TV and the Signage Stick, Google TV Streamer, NVIDIA Shield, Android, Windows and ChromeOS all run Fugo.
SOC displays for tight panels
A Samsung Tizen or LG webOS display with the player built in means one less box and one less cable in a cramped cabin panel.
Commercial-grade only
A cabin moves hundreds of times a day. Ask your supplier for a panel rated for vibration and heat.
How this fits with your lobby and directory screens
Most buildings do not buy lift screens on their own. They come with a lobby welcome screen and a digital building directory, and the point of running them in one CMS is that a floor change gets updated once. The directory holds the tenant list, the lobby screen sets the tone on arrival, the lift screens fill the 30 seconds in between, and wayfinding covers the route once someone steps out.
Lobby welcome screens
Set the tone on arrival with a branded welcome screen in the ground-floor lobby.
Digital building directory
Keep the tenant and floor list current, and reuse the same content on your lift screens.
Security and pricing
Enterprise-ready security, and pricing that does not punish you for scale.
SOC 2 type II
Fugo is SOC 2 Type II certified, so your facilities and IT teams can sign the platform off.
Per-screen pricing
40 landing screens across four buildings cost the same per screen as one. No surprises as you add cabins.
