Running screens across every community
Most operators are not managing one building. You are managing eight, or forty, each with its own activities coordinator and its own menu. Designing for older eyes
Accessibility is not a nice-to-have here — it is whether the screen works at all. Fugo does not hold a WCAG certification, but Design Studio gives you full control over type size, contrast, dwell time and transitions, so you can set your own accessibility standard and apply it as a template across every community. Fugo is built for public and staff-area communication — never a clinical system, and never a place for resident health records or other protected health information.
Type big
Aim for text readable from across a room, not from a desk. Set a minimum size in Design Studio templates and stick to it across every screen.
High contrast
Dark text on light backgrounds, or the reverse. Avoid mid-greys and thin fonts.
Slow it down
Give each slide 15 to 20 seconds instead of the 7 you would use in a retail window. People need time to read.
No rapid motion
Skip fast transitions, flashing and autoplay video with quick cuts. Gentle fades only.
One idea per slide
Two lines and a photo beats a dense poster every time.
Keep health data off the glass
A lounge screen is visible to every resident, visitor and contractor who walks past. Keep protected health information off it entirely. On the platform, Fugo is SOC 2 Type II certified with role-based access.
