Put a scrolling ticker on your screens

A digital signage ticker is a slim band of moving text along the edge of your screen. Pick a source, drop the ticker onto your layout, and publish. Fugo keeps the band refreshing on its own while the rest of your screen carries on.

News ticker FAQs

What is a news ticker on digital signage?

A news ticker is a slim band of scrolling text, usually along the bottom of the screen, that shows a live feed of headlines, messages or data.

On digital signage it runs alongside your main content, so a screen can show a promotion, menu or dashboard while news, weather or announcements scroll underneath. With Fugo you can feed the ticker from a news app, an RSS feed or your own custom text.

Can I show a stock ticker?

Fugo does not have a dedicated stock-price widget. If your figures are available as a public RSS feed or a live web page, you can scroll them in a ticker using the RSS Feed app or a web page.

For live business figures, pair a ticker with a Fugo TV Dashboard to show KPIs from tools like Power BI, Grafana or Looker on screen.

What can feed my ticker?

A Fugo ticker can pull from:
- News apps such as Fox, Yahoo and Al Jazeera
- Any public RSS feed
- Custom text and messages you type in
- Live web pages and dashboards

You can mix these across screens and change them whenever you like.

Does a ticker work on my screens?

Yes. Fugo is hardware-agnostic, so a ticker runs on any TV or commercial display with a media player attached — Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, an Android or Windows player, or a Samsung and LG display with a built-in player.

You build the layout once and publish it to every screen from one dashboard, with uptime monitoring and remote recovery keeping them online.

Can I control where the ticker appears?

Yes. In Design Studio you place the ticker wherever you want — most people put it along the bottom edge, but you can position and size it to suit the layout.

You can also schedule it, so a ticker only appears at certain times of day or on certain screens. Pricing is per screen, with no minimum.
