If you’re running into problems with the Fugo app on your Samsung SSP, such as freezing or difficulty starting the app, following the steps below might clear that up for you.
Reset Your Display
⚠️ Reseting your screen will delete all settings and data on it
1. Turn your SSSP off.
2. Boot up into service mode by pressing (one after the other) Mute > 1
> 8
> 2
, and then On on your remote. Your SSSP will boot up and you’ll see the service mode menu.
3. Scroll down to SVC and select it.
4. Select the Reset option.
5. Select Apps Reset. Wait until it’s complete and you get a confirmation message.
Note: If you installed the Fugo app with a USB stick; this step above ☝️ may be extra relevant as Apps Reset is likely to fail.
6. Finally, reboot your SSSP. You may have to manually re-download the Fugo app, but once that’s done it should be working as expected.
Complete Your Display Setup
After resetting your display, you'll need to complete the setup again before installing Fugo.
1. Turn on your display (make sure you aim the remote at the sensors, which need to be plugged into the back of the TV.)
2. Choose a language.
3. Accept the "Terms & Conditions"
4. Connect your display to internet via WiFi or a wired connection.
5. Choose Manual Setup under the Installation Type.
6. Choose Auto, Landscape or Portrait mode under the Display Orientation.
7. Under Player selection, select Custom App and type in the following URL — https://t.fugo.ai
If this doesn’t work (often on older displays), try using http://t.fugo.ai instead.
8. Then click Go and then press right on the remote to go to the next step
9. Press Skip on the MagicINFO server setup
10. Select an option for Auto Power Off - Off / 4 hours / 6 hours / 8 hours / 16 hours.
We recommend to use the OFF setting.
11. Set the Clock. This is actually important - set the exact Date and Time.
12. Click Next and then Done.
13. Wait a bit Or press the Home button on your remote and then select the Custom App down below on the menu.
14. Once the Fugo Web App is downloaded and installed, you'll see the pairing PIN and QR code to allow you to connect and manage your new screen with your Fugo account.
